The Firelight PeopleA Cowboy, far from home, trudged through the winter's snow. Ahead through the trees, a campfire glowed bright in the dusk's light. In the circle of warmth, he found a small group of people. They sang, and made merry, which was strange to the Cowboy, for he'd never seen such from people all in one place. The world he knew before his travels, his home and the people in it, had been rough, demanding and gritty. There was no singing, or dancing, or merriment. These new people lived life in colour, passion and song.
So he stayed with them a while, was welcomed by them. He learned their songs, and their passions. Many a day passed, until finally,

An ox heart, handmade barbed wire, and a letter opener... It has recently been pointed out that this is the representation for the sacred heart of Jesus, but for arts' sake, I'm going to leave the title, even though marginally incorrect. Okay, completely incorrect. Damnit, Jim, I'm a photographer, not a Historian!
